· Cathy discussed her ideas for planting plans – areas to be planted
and species to be used. She has several partial maps which have to be
combined before she can put these ideas on paper. We should be able to get
some plants salvaged from Symmes for the Res.
· Leslie reported that John Sanchez wants to have some sort of
ceremony at the Res, probably in early June. That would be a good
opportunity to display the planting plans.
· Progress report: The turnaround for vehicles near the outflow and
the straight path from the Hurd Field bridge to the top of the dam are now
done.
· The daffodils we planted near the parking area, which we feared
were obliterated by boulders moved later, have largely survived and are
blooming behind the boulders. But Japanese knotweed is spreading nearby.
