Reservoir Bird Walk Report from Saturday,
October 2
The bird walk around the Reservoir on Saturday morning was great.
Great weather and lots of birds to see. If you are interested, the
next walk is on Sunday, October 10, at 8 AM, again led by Karsten Hartel.
Meet at the Hurd Field Parking lot. Bring binoculars. No pets,
please. Karsten is a great bird walk leader, so even if you are a
novice at this, you can have a great time and learn much.
Attached below is the list from Karsten about the birds we saw (and
one Karsten saw at the Res the evening before the walk). I (Gene)
saw most of the birds but was too slow with my binoculars for a couple
of the warblers and one of the sparrows. - Gene Bensen
